My professional carpenter husband built me a rug hooking frame a few years ago, and I have finally convinced him to build them to sell. Everyone who sees my frame loves it and wants one just like it! We have sold several already locally through preorders, and are now ready to offer them here. These gripper frames are built to order and are finely crafted of fine hardwood.

The NEW Pioneer Rug Hooking Frame is constructed of unfinished maple and is available in both the lap frame style and as a floor frame. The frame opening is a perfectly rectangular 11.5 inches by 14 inches, and is the perfect size--not too big and not too small. The fine metal grippers are strong and securely attached, they work for any backing, I have personally used linen, monk's cloth and burlap and never had a problem with my rugs staying firmly taught. Molded plastic tri-knobs are easy to grip and turn, they won't dig into your fingers like regular metal wing nuts!

The frame swivels on the base 360* and tilts to any angle. The floor stand model raises and lowers to your desired height and angle as well, making this frame fully customizable to your needs. It is even light weight and easy to take to your hooking group (I've done just that with this frame for 3 years now!).

Custom sized wooden frames in multiple styles for your needlework, papercrafts, etc. You choose the style, color, even the size! We also have frames already sized for our punch needle projects, it is easy to match them up.

Frames are custom built by a professional carpenter and hand painted especially for you, so please allow 3 to 10 days for shipment. If you need one fast, drop us a note with your payment, and we will get it out fast!

Custom Frame Ordering

Here is how it works:

Select color and trim style, then click "Add to Cart"

Calculate how big the opening of your frame will be. For example, an 8 by 10 inch frame would add up to 36 inches total (8+8+10+10=36 inches).

Increase quantity in the shopping cart to your total inches. (The above example would be 36 for the quantity.) Price per inch is normally 69 cents, sale price 49 cents! (Limited Time only).

Tell us your chosen frame opening dimensions in the Notes area of the shopping cart, for example"8 by 10 inches."
